Caught undergoing testing near the Nürburgring, the heavily camouflaged prototype is distinguished by a larger air intake, a high performance braking system and AMG wheels.

Evolutionary design with aggressive details

The Aston Martin DB9 is nearly eight years old, so it's reassuring to know the company is working on an extensive facelift.

Caught testing alongside a Ferrari 599 and Mercedes SLS AMG, the heavily camouflaged prototype has an evolutionary design with a prominent front splitter, a ventilated hood and Virage-style headlights. Out back, there's an aggressive rear fascia, a large decklid spoiler and a dual exhaust system.

Here is the second teaser image released by Infiniti of the JX concept, set for a debut at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance on August 18.

The 7-seat crossover/SUV still has not been fully revealed but its design will draw upon the FX and Etherea concepts that Nissan's premium brand has previously shown.

Our spy photographers have caught a 2013 Range Rover prototype wearing a full production body.

The model is heavily disguised, but we can see it will feature a clamshell hood, massive headlights and a sloping roofline. Furthermore, the vehicle appears significantly larger which should result in additional rear seat legroom and added cargo capacity.
2013 Porsche Cayman spied at the Nürburgring
Larger, lighter and more powerful

Our spies have caught the 2013 Porsche Cayman on the Nürburgring Nordschleife.

The prototype is heavily camouflaged, but we can see the model will have an evolutionary design that is instantly recognizable. While the front end looks similar to recent 911 prototypes, sources have indicated the Boxster and Cayman will be distinguished by unique lighting units and a steeper windscreen. Additionally, the redesigned Cayman adopts door-mounted mirrors, a larger rear window and a new side air intake.

The Environmental Protection Agency decided against the idea of giving new vehicles sold in the U.S. a letter grade of A, B, C, D, or F for their fuel mileage. Here's a breakdown of the new sticker, which goes into effect for the 2013 model year:


1. Type of fuel used.

2. Traditional fuel economy in mpg, weighted average (larger), city and highway for gas, diesel, and CNG vehicles.

3. Comparison with other vehicles, showing lowest and best fuel economy in the car or truck's size classification.

4. How much you save, or spend, compared with the average vehicle as expressed in number 3.

Reports have come in that Mercedes-Benz is planning to further extend its SUV line-up with a BMW X6 competitor called the GLS. This is according to sources within Mercedes and not yet confirmed publicly.

2014 is the scheduled for launch year for the new four-seater SUV which will share the same uni-body platform that underpins the third-generation M-class and the latest Jeep Grand Cherokee.

VW is promising a sportier Golf model for the Mk7 generation of the classic hatch.

The 2013 Volkswagen Golf will come with a steeper windshield, wider track and lower roof-line compared to the current model. On the inside, the new instrument panel and center console will be more angled towards the driver in a sports car-like design.

1957 Ferrari 250 Tesa Rossa prototype up for auction
Could set a new world record

Gooding & Company has announced plans to auction a 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa prototype at this year's Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.

Based on the 290MM, the 250 TR originally debuted at the Nürburgring 1000km race where it finished in 10th. It would eventually enter competition at the Venezuelan Grand Prix and 1000km race of Buenos Aires, before being restored to its current condition.

Based on the global Toyota iQ, the Scion iQ comes with a 1.3 liter, four-cylinder unit delivering an output of 94 bhp (70 kW / 95 PS) and 89 lb-ft (121 Nm) of torque.
