The GSX-R750 – arguably the bike that started the replica racer revolution – marked its 25th anniversary in 2010. Oddly, Suzuki decided to celebrate the noteworthy birthday last year by creating a limited edition GSX-R1000, designated by little more than special paint and “25th Anniversary Edition” on the mufflers and wheel rim striping.

Ralf Schumacher has emerged as the best-placed Mercedes-Benz driver at the third round of the DTM season in Spielberg.

The German's second place finish in Austria was his second podium finish in the DTM.

"Second place and my second podium are a good result for me," Schumacher commented. "I tried everything to get past Martin Tomczyk, but I couldn't do it in the end. I was fast all weekend here in Spielberg and hope I can continue this form in the coming races."

Elsewhere, Bruno Spengler climbed eight positions to claim fourth place from 12th on the grid.

Designed to increase the model's sporting potential, the package features a new air intake (?449), a revised ECU (?698) and a stainless steel sport exhaust system (?1749). Thanks to these modifications, the engine produces 355 PS (261 kW / 350 hp) and 485 Nm (358 lb-ft) of torque - an increase of 85 PS (63 kW / 84 hp) and 135 Nm (100 lb-ft).
